Welcome to Soyoga

Soyoga offers hatha yoga, breathing exercises, meditation and coaching. Our approach is mindful and leads to deep relaxation.Yoga is unity and every person can experience this unity. 

Our Background

With the help of breathing and relaxation exercises, as well as concentration and balance exercises, we stabilize and strengthen our body and mind. We can therefore experience deep peace and increase our consciousness.

Yoga is independent of ethnic groups, religion, age or mobility. The hatha yoga exercises (asanas) that we practice are simple and pleasant and give our body more stability and resilience. The exercises are performed calmly and without performance pressure, so that the participants can enjoy the posture.

Through the interaction of tension and relaxation, on the one hand we experience deep peace and tranquility, and on the other hand we become strong. Moreover, our body generates more energy than it uses.

A hatha yoga class lasts 90 minutes. This applies to both the online lesson and the course in school.

“…but yoga is only for slim people, right?”
“I’m not flexible enough to do yoga at all.”
“I suffer from high blood pressure, so I am not allowed to practice yoga at all.”
All clichés that really play no role. Inquire about the possibilities. Yoga means unity and has nothing to do with how mobile you are. Yoga also has nothing to do with performance orientation, on the contrary. As long as you perform the movements taking into account your capabilities, nothing will stand in the way of your lifelong “yoga”!

Why online?

The restrictions of the Pandemic (2020-2022) have contributed to many people who would otherwise never have gone to a yoga studio now practicing yoga. Our participants live in different countries and their ages range from 24 to 82 years young. Their positive feedback is of great significance to us and an important reason to continue with the online course offering.

In May 2023 we opened the doors of the yoga school in Selzach. In addition to hatha yoga courses, we also offer breathing exercises, meditation and coaching.

We also organize workshops, yoga days and who knows, even more in the future.

It’s that simple, “Soyoga“, uncomplicated.

Albert: In 1995, the Indian Yogi Dhiranandadji (Samir Gosh) initiated me into Kriya yoga. Practicing Kriya yoga supports me. A long-cherished wish to train as a hatha yoga teacher in the tradition of Paramapadma Dhiranandadji has been fulfilled in recent years. Teaching yoga classes and meditation gives great satisfaction.

Gina: The common thread in my life is my interest and fascination for people and their development. For me, practicing hatha yoga means deepening my life, a daily ritual, to connect and be with myself. I then experience satisfaction and peace and I am grateful to be able to guide others as a yoga teacher.
